Throughout the year we represented Canadian colleges and institutes overseas by participating in events, and creating new opportunities for our members, both to generate new partnerships and support their recruitment efforts.
- In October, we attended the China Annual Conference for International Education and presented on the Canadian college sector’s experiences and approaches in responding to the changing world of work. We also joined an international delegation and visited Jiangxi Province, where we attended the provincial TVET Forum and visited multiple colleges.
- We participated in the EduCanada fairs in Senegal in January and, on the margins, organized a networking activity for participating members and select education agents.
- In January, we worked with the Canadian Embassy in Morocco and six member institutions, to organize a full day of partnership development and recruitment activities in Casablanca including networking sessions with Moroccan institutions, members of la Fédération Marocaine de l’Enseignement professionnel privé (FMEP)
- In partnership with the Canadian Embassy in the Philippines (Edu-Canada), we offered a series of recruitment and partnerships development activities in February and March, which was available exclusively to our members.
